Hello Guys,
Wonder if you could clarify a few things for me if you've ever been in similar situation before.
Namely, I am getting ready to submit my PR application and while fill in the application I noticed that technically I am having a gap of a few days in my employment which might be problematic.
Please see below my time-line for reference:
01.06.2011 - 30.09.2014 - employed continuously with an Employer A (part time work while studying- earning between 8900-12000£ a year. Lowest salary was in 2013/2014 tax year - 8900£)
06.10.2014 - 30.11.2015 - employed continuously with an Employer B (Full-time job following graduation)
09.11.2015 - 31.03.2016 - employed continuously with an Employer C (Full-time job)
01.04.2016 - present - employed continuously with an Employer D (Full-time job)
Now, I have been wondering if:
a) a gap of a few days between jobs in 2014 would be a problem? No CSI in place. However, I had my job with the Employer B lined up while I was still working for the Employer A. Would it be worth evidencing it in my application ?
b) my earnings in 2013/2104 tax year are sufficient? I am aware that the MET/PET test is applied therefore would salary of 8900£ potentially mean that my job will be classed as not genuine and effective given that I was also studying in the same time?
c) given the information above would it be easier to apply as a family member of an EEA national instead individually? My wife has had the PR card since 2011 and we have been living together since 2007. We got married in 2014 and have a daughter who was born in 2017.
I will greatly appreciate if you could please shed some light in regard to the above.
Thank you.
