Tier 2 to ILR Dependant

Post by black_pearl » Tue Jul 04, 2017 2:08 am

Dear All,
I am planning to switch in-country from Tier 2 Main Applicant to ILR Dependant. My Husband has applied for Neutralisation and is awaiting outcome of his application.
1: Can I still apply as ILR Dependant as he has still got his original ILR permit? is there a chance that our applications may cross over resulting in refusal of my application as hopefully, he will be granted neutralisation resulting in change in his status whilst my application is still being processed as ILR Dependant (or am I thinking too much) ?
2: He is currently out of work but I am earning 30K PA. Will that satisfy the financial requirement?
Your timely and valuable advice will be greatly appreciated.

You need to get the terminology correct. There is no visa called "ILR dependent". It is called a spouse settlement visa.

1. It is the same visa whether husband is ILR holder or British. You are over thinking yes.

2. Yes, you will need to submit 6 months bank statements and 6 months pay slips.
