Spouse Settlement - Financial requirement

Post by beinghuman1234 » Wed Jul 05, 2017 4:32 pm

Hi there

My spouse visa expires in March 2018 and i need to apply for my ILR

I earn 28K and my wife (British Citizen) earn 19K as she works part time and from next month she will be on maternity leave.

So i have 2 questions
1. Will there be problem in my application as my wife (British Citizen) will be on maternity leave.
2. Do i still need to maintain 16000 in my savings account.

Please advise
Regards

You can meet the minimum income level of £18,600 with your earnings alone.

So i have 2 questions
1. Will there be problem in my application as my wife (British Citizen) will be on maternity leave. NO
2. Do i still need to maintain 16000 in my savings account. NO
