Tier -2 ICT long term dependent to tier 2 general

HI.. I have Tier-2 ICT long term UK visa from Mar, 2013. My wife has her own individual Tier-2 ICT long term visa.
If i get a new offer, who is willing to sponsor, then I know i can not covert to Tier-2 general. BUt if I convert to a dependent of my wife as Tier-2 ICT long term dependent. Then can i apply a fresh Tier- 2 general, with the new offer from my home country??? Or will there be a cooling off period??

Yes you can switch to dependent visa in the UK but you will still have to be on the dependent visa for a full 12 months before you can apply for Tier 2 general from home country.

No other way unless you earn in excess of £155,000 and a shortage occupation job I think, wait for iworker or moonlight55 to confirm.

Visa of my wife's ICT long term ends on 12th mar, 2018. SO i will not have 12 months as a dependent ..
