Spouse visa breakdown - Responsibility to inform UKBA

Post by Chelseafc123 » Wed Jul 19, 2017 11:59 pm

How do I go about deporting my estranged husband? He came to the Uk in March 2017 as we managed to sort all the visa and everything within a year of being married in pakistan!! He arrived here on false pretenses and I want him sent back to Pakistan. I have currently sent off letters to the home office, but have heard nothing for quite a while. He is currently staying with his sister as well as working. Any advice would be appreciated, many thanks .

It is not up to you, it is up to HO to cancel the visa and do what they do. You are required to complete the form from HO, linked below.

https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... nsent-form

Once done, you won't get updated on what HO does.

His visa is valid for as long as it takes HO to curtail or cancel his visa. There is nothing you can do to speed up the process or be involved in every step of what HO processes are.

Thanks for letting me know! I just feel like nothing is being done, but if this is the case I will let the home office get on with it! Fingers crossed he will be out of here before he knows it!!

It can take months for them to cancel his visa. He will likely be given an opportunity to apply for any other category visa he might qualify for.

This could drag on for a long time.

Suggest get divorce started if it is definitely over.
