Uk spouse visa- 6 month wage slip

Post by Ziyaa95 » Thu Jul 20, 2017 6:15 pm

Hi,

I would like some information in regards to the amount of months wage slip i require for a spouse visa uk. I currently work as a customer service advisor and have been working here for around 8 months. My annual salary is £19,443. I am due to enter my case in july this month and so i must use my most recent wage slip. However during this month i was on sick leave which meant i havnt got paid in full. I am wondering if this will affect my case in anyway and it will be rehected. I plan to apply via category A giving 6 month wage slips however i am really worried that due to lesser pay in july this will cause my case to get rejected. My wage slips are as follows:
January to june- £1620.25
July- £1171.57 (due to sickness)

I do have a doctors note also. Can anyone please help with my query.
Thank you

As you have stated that you will apply in July (present month). Then if your 6 months bank statements and payslips until June will not be older than 28 days from the date of application then you can skip July payslip where you got paid less.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.

Hi thanks for the reply, as i get paid on the 20th of each month this means i will have to use julys wage slip as the most recent as junes is now older then 28 days

Then better to use non-salaried person route where the average of last 6 months of wages will be used to calculate the annual wages instead salaried person where the lowest wages figure in the last 6 months is being used I.e £1171.57 (in your case).
