Flr fp question please help

My situation is I was here on a student visa
Met my partner we lived together 2.5 yrs
We had a baby towards the end of the visa.
We went to the states as I didn't want to over stay.
We returned and I am here on antourist visa.
I've been advised to do the flr fp application as a parent because my partner can't move as he has a joint custody court order w another child but no one can care for my son other then me as my partner works 9-9 and his mum is disabled.
He can't come to the states w me as I have no other place to live then my moms and she has mental health issues amongst other reasons.

My question. Is has anyone ever been approved under a visitor visa??? Is it even worth the risk?? I'm not sure what to do as my partner makes just under the financial requirement for a paetner visa.

Firstly, please do not overstay your visit visa. This makes it further more complicated.

There are Minimum Income Rules whereby you need to earn at least 18.6K, however, a new ruling has come into play that will accommodate you if you have other sources of income, e.g a parent, or siblings who can support you, with savings etc. There is more detail to come soon.

If you meet all requirements but do not on finance, it will be considered in best interest of your child and put on a 10 year partner route. This rule is not even live yet (its from 10th Aug) so my best recommendation is to apply from aborad on a partner/spousal route where you have ALL proof of your relationship together.
