Hi all,
I am currently in a similar situation.
You can actually work in UK for up to 4 months, or until you tier 4 visa expires if earlier, after you finish your course. You can then apply for a tier 2 visa within the UK as soon as you obtain evidence of degree completion.
My issue is that my employer already submitted my Certificate of Sponsorship 2 days ago for approval, which which expires in 3 months, and any applications under that COS need to be submitted before then. Unfortunately I will not be able to obtain proof of degree until after November potentially, so it will be too late.
I am wondering if I should
1) Politely ask for my employer to withdraw the current COS application, and issue one at a later date.
or
2) if it is possible to submit provisional grades before the actual final marks are in with a reference stating my award date.
Thanks!
