ASSIGNING UNRESTRICTED CoS TO GENERATE CoS

Please, I need an urgent answer as I am a little worried and confused. Basically, my employer has been provided with one unrestricted CoS upon the approval of their company's Tier 2 Licence to Sponsor. Now my question is, when he assigns this unrestricted CoS to me next week, will the CoS generate automatically via SMS or do they have to wait after assigning for any kind of approval again from the HO?
