Thank again sk17aaa. Last query might be.. :)

At last for all applicants, 1. Complete the online application, 2. Pay NHS Surcharge, 3. Pay the application fees.
4. Take a print out of the completed online applications and send it to respective address
with Passport, BRP and photos. Is that correct ?

NHS Surcharge, it's coming £500 each as my CoS is for 2.5 years. Is it £200 per year or £100 per half year ?

It is £200 per year and if not a complete year it is pro-rated as appropriate. £500 for a 2.5 year visa is correct.

Hi

If you are applying by post, it is advisable to send it thru royal mail recorded delivery so you can keep a track.

Also include another recorded delivery envelope (along with the documents you are about to submit) so UKVI can return all your passport(s) safely.

Regarding NHS Surcharge, CR001 has pointed it out correctly. Thanks CR001. If UKVI feels, the amount is in excess, for any reason, they will refund it once your visa is approved.

All the very best with your application.

Thx

I got the visa extension, plied end of August and approved 3rd week of September. based on my experience.
2. In new application (started from september, 2017 i presume), It is asking to enter "Do you have a valid national identity card?"
-- Is it the 'Aadhaar Card' for candidate from India (whoever has applied recently and from India please comment) ?
No, just leave it
4. While filling the application for me, wife and children, it only asked information of the Current passport. I have filled the form with the current passport details and submitting this Passport with the application.
Send all passports, just safer side
In the online application, it does not ask for NHS surcharge details ?
-- I have not paid the surcharge yet, but wanted to know where do i need to enter the reference number once it is being paid ?
at one point I need to pay NHS surcharge during application but they are updating online application questionaries all the time. I have applied in August end.
Also include another recorded delivery envelope (along with the documents you are about to submit) so UKVI can return all your passport(s) safely.
optional, I did not send an envelope but they returned in a well-packed plastic envelope.

Hello,
I am applying for a Tier 2 general extension as well.

I have a similar question in terms of requiring a national identity card number, is it Aadhar, PAN? or you have ignored and said a No to the question?

Thanks.

Regards,

Hi all,
Today I have submitted my online application.

Next, it's asking me to send only the checklist and the supporting documents.
Is that enough or do I need to send the application form as well to be in a safer side ?

I presume i don't need to sign anywhere specially the application form as it's being already submitted online ?

Kindly confirm.

Hi iworker, thank you so much for your swift response.
Sorry for another question :

Last time, I filled the application (switching to New employer) manually and submitted by post.
I received my biometric enrolment letter from HO after probably couple of week and then only I went to Post Office to have my biometric.

This time, the online application is allowing me to download this letter dated on today (9th Oct 2017) and it's asking me to have the biometric within 15 working days from the date of this letter.

I am bit confused.
After sending the documents, can I directly go to Post office with this letter and have my biometric.

Sorry for silly question, but I wanted to make sure I am doing anything wrong. Kindly confirm.

Hi

I think this is a new feature introduced recently while filling the online application. Not there until early July (when I applied).

Couple of members posted the same question

Thanks

Thank you sk17aaa for pointing me to the link.

I don't mind going with this enrollment letter, but if HO sends one more letter asking me to enroll again. There might be a problem or mismatch for doing twice. Not sure what to do in this case.

I have gone through the link that you provided. I presume nobody has got decision on their application yet.

Hi All,

Just had one query on list of document to be submitted to HO.

Q1. In new application (started from september, 2017 i presume), It is asking to enter "Do you have a valid national identity card?"
-- Is it the 'Aadhaar Card' for candidate from India (whoever has applied recently and from India please comment) ?

In my application, I selected 'Yes' for the above question and provided my Aadhaar number.
I submitted all the mandatory documents that was listed in the checklist, but did not submit my Aadhaar card document as it was not asked in the checklist.
My doubt is "will it be a problem, I should worry about ?".
