Form flrm absence for half a month from work

Post by Aly123 » Thu Aug 10, 2017 3:12 pm

Hi
This is my first post here so not sure if I am posting in the right category. I wanted to know that I am applying through flrm form for my husband and applying through category A...my two job salaries together add up to about 23000 plus annually however for my 6 month pay...during one month I took time off for my marriage and that was unpaid and it says on their information that they take lowest salary from 6 months payslips. If they go by that then my yearly pay will be about 18400. I dont believe absence should be counted as the time off was genuine...will they take account that my pay is less that month due to genuine absence as it says on payslip ansence deductions or will they use that lowest month pay to decide refusal? I have searched everywhere but it says nothing about this issue anywhere. My other 5 pay slips all add upto above 23000 a year. Anyone who may have knowledge, I would be grateful for a reply. Thankyou

In this case you can rely on category B instead A which usually is for those who can't meet income requirement through category A or earning variable income. In case of category B firstly you should have earned at least £18600 during the last 12 months and secondly the average of your last 6 months wages must also meeet the annual income requirement. Usually average income is calculated by (total of 6 months wages/6×12). You should still attach the payslip of such month when you didn't work even empty.

NOTE: The lowest total of wages during the last 6 months wages is only taken where someone is on fixed wages (salaried person) category A.
