Variation from FLR (FP) to FLR (M)

Post by falakianstar » Sat Aug 19, 2017 2:19 am

Dear members, I am requesting you to leave your valuable suggestions and guide me through this scenario;
I applied for my ILR on the 12th Apr 2017. In the meanwhile, my missus was on Tier 4 general visa and her visa was running out on the 19th July 2017. As my ILR application was already with the Home Office, my missus applied for FLR FP visa on the 18th July 2017, please note that we have 3 years UK born child as well. She chose FLR (FP) instead of FLR (M) because I didn’t have my settlement visa at the time of her application. I received my documents back with the ILR approval letter on the 17th Aug 2017 and hoping to receive my BRP in next couple of days.
My question is;
Does my missus need to vary her FLR (FP) application to FLR (M)? and what should we send to the HO to request the variation?
If we request the home office to vary her FLR (FP) application, then do we need to pay the application fee again or Home Office will justify the fee we already paid for FLR (FP)? (Both of the applications have the same amount of fee)
Or do we need to wait for the decision and don’t mess around to vary her application?
Many Thanks

Yes. Vary the application by submitting the FLR(M) form, if she meets with all the requirements.

many thanks for your reply.
if possible please clarify about the fee and IHS, that should we need to pay it again or just to mention it in her cover letter that we already paid those fees?
