English language test during switching tier 2 employer

Hello,

I am on tier 2 general visa and about to switch my employer. Could you advise me please, if I am supposed to provide proof of my English language level as part of my application?

As far as I am aware I don't have to provide proof of Sufficient funds but not sure about English language level.

The rules state that -
Previous grants of leave
162.You will be awarded 10 points for English language where you have met the English language requirement in a previous grant of leave. This will be the case if you have ever been granted leave:
under the Tier 2 (General) category under the rules in place on or after 6 April 2011, having provided evidence of having a knowledge of English equivalent to level B1 of the Council of Europe’s Common European Framework for Language Learning or above;

When you make an online application, the application form/checklist will usually confirm if you need to submit evidence for meeting English language requirements.
