My husband was granted leave to remain on partner 10 year route. His visa is due for renewal next month and we are debating whether to switch to FLR M. We meet the requirements, concerned that the finicanical requirement will increase to an unachieve level for us. Could anyone advice if this level increases will this effect those extending their spouse visa after 2.5 yrs or just new applicants? Hate to risk the chance that 2.5 years time, don't meet new requirement and have to start back at year one on FP again.
