I have received email from Uni stating that UKVI has used my CAS.Can someone tell how much time it will take more?
According to my understanding, that means a decision has been made.. Hopefully you'll get a call from vfs soon.. Good luck.. Do keep us posted.

Hi everyone !

I want to share my Tier 4 general student timeline :

Online application : July 18th
Biometrics appointment : July 27th in Paris
UKVI received my application : July 28th
Application considered by an ECO : August 9th

Nothing for a while...

"Your application remains under consideration" mail : August 18th

4/09/17 : Yesterday, after having seeing many posts on the forum, I decided to call them even if I have to pay for it ( it's better to leave in the UK and do my studies). A kind woman answered me and said that a decision had been made (surprised!!) on my application but she could not tell me when exactly so I had to wait 10 more days for my documents. ( Course start date September 18th)

Few minutes later : TLS Contact mail, "decision made"
20 minutes later : My documents are ready to collect
5 minutes later : Documents are send to me, and I will receive it on Tuesday 5/09/17

5/09/17 Update : Today, after having waiting for a long time, I have finally got my Visa and it is approved. I have received any email from UKVI, all were from my Visa Application Centre.

I know that there are many people who are still waiting. If I had some tips : try to call them in the morning, be among the first ones at 9am they just start to work and are very kind (so perfect time). Explain your situation quietly. It worked for me, since I called, everything was okay in only 2 days whereas I wait for more than 30 days... I think they are just human beings and sometimes they forget and put a side some applications but if you explain your case they will do their best for you.

Never loose hope. Thank you all, bye bye !

Dear Avinash

Thanks for your email and enquiry. I have contacted UKVI yesterday but I have just spoken with our account manager today who has advised she will have it escalated with their entry clearance team as soon as possible.

As soon as I have any further information, I will be in touch. As a reminder, please do not arrange any travel until you have received a decision on your visa application, confirmed that the information on your visa is correct and that you have have received your passport and documents back.
@helleravinas: You got any updates?
I didn't got any updates. Do u know any 1 who got uk student visa recently here in nepal

Guys just found out something useful.
You should all email your universities international support team, as they are more able to deal with this.
I emailed mine, and they asked for my CAS, Visa number, Passport number, and DOB and right away they were able to tell me the status of my Visa application, which was a "decision has been made".

The school is able to tell if your visa has been finished with by looking at your CAS number on a system.

Hope this helps

Yes I tried but the online tracker doesn't work. Even now, I try to put my GWF number with my visa approved but nothing... I think it's only for those who apply in the UK not outside...

I applied on 9th July and scanning was done on the 13th of July (standard service)

They said they cant escalate, only request updates unfortunately.. They've already notified UKVI about it though.
