hey guys.. i also applied in july and still haven't received my visa.. this is my 7th week. However, i know a few people have been receiving their visa. One of my friend from india waited for 9 weeks but he received his visa yesterday. My other friend from Taiwan received his visa last night (he waited for 9 weeks). So, i think there's hope for us. Just keep praying. I'm sure we're going to get the visas soon.. they are clearing the backlog

I applied on 31st July and still waiting for the decision. This is so disturbing. It's been almost 14 days since I called UKVI and requested them for escalation. My course starts next Monday. I never knew this is how irresponsible UKVI is.

@hellervinas Can you please tell me when your decision was made. I called up UKVI and they have told me that a decision was made on 10th. I have no information from VFS though.

Thanks guys.. Waiting for VFS to get in touch now. I'll keep you posted.

Good luck to all. But I suggest you all call UKVI one last time, cos a lot of decisions seem to have been made over the weekend.

Hey, visa peers... I applied on July 14, biometrics-26, got email that UKVI received the docs-on 27th of July. Since then - no news. Starting from August 18th, I have been calling UKVI 9 times with replies that decision was made around August 16. They escalated my case twice, wrote to the Home Office and promised that I will be contacted within 24 hrs. Guess what, nobody did. I visited VAC several times to check maybe they got my docs. NOTHING. Promise that docs should be returned within 10 working days - is not the case any longer. Timeframe exceeded. I contacted my university seeking for help, no aid from their. I wrote to the embassy explaining the delivery delay - no reply. My school started on Monday! Well, I got extension from the university till 25. Not getting too emotional but what is soooo absurd about all of this is that I have no idea who to contact to seek for an advice. I think I tried it all. It is sooo unbelievable unfair.
