Hi guys,
How long can someone get his passport back after decision has been made. I applied from Nigeria
Hi,
When did you apply please and did you pay for priority processing? You might receive the collection email today or tomorrow. Usually you receive it latest the next working day.

No i havent received any call for 2nd interview,

i just called the embassy again and was told my application is still awaiting decision, tried calling my uni but they havent gotten back to me yet. i am so confused and do not understand anything. school resumes on monday and still nothing has been done
Bolivar and daniel did you get any news after the non straightforward email? Did you get called for 2nd interview? I'm in the same situation
Hi any updated yet? Did you get interview, and do you have immigration history that makes them concern like ever been refused before?
Hi good day, no i havent received any email or call for 2nd interview, yes i do have immigration history, i have visited the uk on several occassions in the past on visit visa and student visa and i stayed an extra 11 days after last student visa expired but i declared it on the application form. My uni also started today. How about you?

Heres my the email i was sent :

Thank you for your enquiry
The processing of this application has not been straightforward. We are continuing to work on the application and will make a decision as soon as we are able to. We cannot give a time scale for when a decision will be made, however I have escalated this to the appropriate Entry Clearance team so that it can be progressed as quickly as possible.

Was your like this @chischis12, because i have heard there are 2 kinds of non-straight forward emails. I applied since 13/07/2017 from Nigeia, will we even get response again.

Guys collected my visa today
Time line : online application 7/07
Biometrics 11/07
Acknowledgement 15/07
Visa issued 13/09
I really wanted to mention one thing , my visa was issued on 13/09 but when I called UkVi on 14/09 I was told that my application is still awaiting a decision , so I guess there are few glitches in the system .
Hope everyone get thier visas soon , and thanks everyone specially the moderators of this website, discussing with fellow students certainly made the 2 months wait easier .
Good luck everyone
Congrats mjaaan. When is your flight now?

Hello, silent reader here.

Priority Timeline:
Sept. 4th: Biometrics
Sept. 5th: Application received email
Sept.13th: Called uni to check my CAS status, they said it has not been used yet
Sept. 14th: Out of curiosity, gave UKVI a ring to check the status of my GWF number. The kind lady told me that a decision has been made.
The next morning (Sept. 15th), was contacted to pick up my passport. Visa, done!

Helped me a lot when I rang UKVI. This forum has helped me a lot, thanks and good luck to everyone!

Those who have got a decision made and dispatched mail can go to Blue dart website, enter your GWF number and track your passport arrival. Can be helpful for anyone who has opted for courier service.

Please use the Ref. No option on the page

Technically it is the day when you submit your application online. Till to make this submission, your bank statement should have passed 28 days to confirm the availability of funds (Maintenance + Tuition).
