Please advise on my proof of address documents for FLR M

Post by Blitheringking » Sat Sep 02, 2017 2:25 pm

Hi Guys,

My wife will be applying for FLR M this month.
We live with my parents and as such neither of us have any utility bills or anything of the such to our names.

Regarding proof of address please can you advise if the below correspondence will be sufficient. I understand that we need to show proof of address for 2 years with letters dated every so often but my mrs never received mail so regularly. Please advise if the below will be enough.

letters in joint names
Bank dated 09/16
Statements from bank dated 11/16 onwards

letters in wife's name alone:
Jobcentre 30/07/15
NHS 03/15
NHS 05/15
DVLA not dated
bank 09/16
bank 11/16

unfortunately this is all of the 'real' mail we have for letters in joint name and in wife's name alone.
We do have receipts for items ordered online with the address on. Also we have things like vouchers that are addressed to my wife from stores but not dated. Will these be accepted?

As well as these we have a son whos birth certificate does mention both parents name and address at time of birth. Can i submit this as evidence?

I do have plenty of mail addressed to myself.

I would really appreciate your input.

Kind regards.

Your child's birth certificate won't be accepted as evidence of joint address.

Any correspondence with name, address and date will be accepted.

You are required to submit the following:
6 pieces of evidence in joint names, from 3 different sources spread as evenly as possible over the full 2.5 year qualifying period. (generally one every 4-5 months)
OR
6 pieces of evidence each in single names as above.

I suggest that you also submit a letter from your parents confirming that you have been living together in their household, which will explain any lack of bills in your names.
