Working while claiming benefits

Post by michaelm9945 » Fri Sep 08, 2017 10:58 am

I'm on ESA and DLA.

I know I can work under 16 hours a week. So, that means I need to work at least a maximum of 15 hours a week?

I'm just wondering what are the steps I need to take once I find a job? I obviously need to inform ESA.

I read that I can only work about 40 weeks. So, after 40 weeks, I need to stop working and I can find another job and start a 40 week-cycle again? and once I stop working, will this affect my ESA?

And finally, am I eligible for working tax credit? and how much will I earn from WTC?
