2 Jobs creation and 12 Months period

Post by akramshahzad » Tue Jul 04, 2017 1:20 am

Greetings everyone.

I am going to submit my case (Tier 1 Entrepreneur Visa Extension) in the month of August. For the two full time jobs, I have shown about 4 part time employees. 2 Part Time employees to cover one job for the full time period and 2 employees to cover the second job for the full time period. However, the completion of 12 months is due to be completed at the end of August, 2017 and I am submitting my case on the 17th of August, 2017. That makes 11 months of completion for the two jobs.

My question is, can I pay my employees earlier and get the FPS and RTI at the mid of the month and not at the end of the month (just for the month of August). This way, I can proof that the two jobs has covered and completed the 12 months and I would have all of the FPS and RTI (for 12 months).

Please help me with my inquiry.

regards

When is your visa valid until ?

Yes, you can submit your FPS and RTI say, on 15th, and submit the documents. You can still pay the employees as per your normal practice at the end of the month - it has no impact as long as the FPS covers the full month.

Hello, thank you very much for the reply. My visa is getting expired on the 21st of August, 2017. I met my accountant today, he gave me this idea that Yes I can submit the FPS and RTI, I can even pay the employees the wages at the 15th of August, 2017 (certain conditions are permitted).

Also, I am now concerned about the CT41G letter from the HMRC. Is there any way that I can get it re-issued or re-printed?

thank you

Yes, you can pay the employees on 15th if you want to.
I was just saying that you do not NEED TO pay it just for your application purposes. It is entirely your choice.
Anyway, you can post your application any date up to the 21st of August.

Call up HMRC. But you can use any tax document from HMRC. You/your accountant possibly have your latest CT600

Tier 1 Extension Question for Accounts and Employees

Post by akramshahzad » Fri Sep 08, 2017 9:26 pm

Dear Senior Members,

I have applied for my extension 2 months ago and I have submitted with my application my management account for the period 1st September, 2016 - 31st August, 2017. The management accounts were for the period until 26th June, 2017 because I have had to submit my application of 30th June, 2017.

Should I send my accounts of August, 2017 with CT Payment to HMRC receipt?

Also, my employees are still in continuation and 2 might going to leave because they might find good opportunity elsewhere. With my submitted application I have given these employees details so if they leave, should I send the P45 of these employees to Home Office?

And that, the hours they are working now, will that be taken in consideration if I send any updated information to the Home Office together with the Accounts?

Looking forward to get suggestions and answers.

Thank you

You don't have to update the HO about changes in your business.
Just relax and let it go through the process.
You would only send in additional documents if you realise there was something missing or wrong in your earlier submissions.
