Change of company address (complication)

Post by Nazia2017 » Mon Sep 11, 2017 1:37 am

Hello,

I have a Tier 2 sponsorship license for 3 years now. We recently changed address splitting it into 2:

1. Our registered address is a postbox we use for correspondence.

2. Employees worked on different premises; as part of a professional membership (renewed every November), we benefit of free access to the membership facilities. We use these facilities (called members' lounge) to work daily.

None of these addresses provide us with a rent or lease agreement, which is required as supporting as documents for a change of company address.

We have sent a cover letter to explain the situation, letter from our registered address provider and letter from our professional membership organisation (confirming that we have daily access to members' lounge). I do not know if this is enough and would welcome your advice. My questions are:

a) What are your suggestions?
b) How long do they take to process change of address applications?
c) Do we run a serious risk of having our license suspended? Is there anything we can do to avoid this?
d) Shall we expect a visit to the members' lounge?

Many thanks,
Nazia

I have recently overseen the change of address application which took 4 months. A call to ukvi to explain that its been 28 days since we sent our new lease docs resulted in them saying nothing more to do for now.
For the circumstances u have explained, acting as a devil's advocate, i would expect a compliance visit
