ILR form question

Post by LanaLana1 » Tue Sep 19, 2017 11:51 am

Hello,

several years ago I applied outside of the rules for my mother to remain in the UK and after the court of appeal she was granted DLR on the grounds of human rights Article 8. Since we had two three year DL last coming to an end in October. I want to apply for ILR and came across 2 forms which seem to cover the matter, but are VERY different in price:

SET (O) and FLR FP , FLR is under 1K and the SET is over 2K so of course money is tight and the difference is huge. Could you please let me know if I can use the FLR form for the indefinite leave application in my case?

Thank you in advance!

Lana

FLR(FP) is an extension of a visa and a 10 year route (4 x 2.5 year visas) before an applicant can apply for ILR. So no, this is not the correct form.

Set(O) is the form for ILR. You cannot avoid the fee unfortunately.

I believe you would need to apply through the SET (O) coming from 6 years DLR, FLR I think is for family life on routes 5 or 10 years.

Again could anyone please confirm.
These are my 'views' and 'opinions'.
If in doubt always seek professional advice, or at least do a search for the relevant information. :P

If i make any mistakes, You are more than welcome to correct me.
