Home office unable to locate the information

Hi Guys,

I have been trying to check my application status online for a while.

I submitted my application in April and for first three - Four months i was able to check status of my application online by using the tracking number.

However for last few weeks i was unable to do so, and i tried all numbers available 1.e IHS, Biomatric, Payment ref etc all the results came up with ref number not recognised.

Today, i contacted home office to check my application status, and they could not find me on the system.
They searched their system using case ref number, Ihs num, biomatric number etc, even they search by my full name and my dob. But nothing came up, lady on the phone advised that this is strange and she will escalate this to the relevant team which will come back to me in next 5 working days.

I am just a bit stressed and wondering if something has had similar issue with homeoffice before?

Any suggestions or advice will be much appreciated.

i think u should not be worried about this.. as this happened to me few years back .. exactly same and they couldn't find me. so this is not strange at all.. it took them 25 days to figure out....so relax.. u will be fine.. take care.

It is just so stressful dealing with UKVI, would like to think that they are more organised but they never fail to disappoint.

I would be surprised if they were that well organised.

Dont worry about it.

The online tracking system is a beta version and is not reliable. It actually gives different “last updated dates” when I try with IHS or case ID.

Sometimes it cant even locate me at all!

May be try after a couple of days.

As far as the HO lady could not locate you with your name and DOB that is a bit strange however if you have the case reference HO letter with you or the biometric letter with you should be fine!

That might be a temporay system error.
