Non EEA unmarried partner. Irish national is my sponsor. Asked him if he wanted PR as well and he said there was “no point”.

Application sent (postal): 18-01-2018
Application received: 19-01-2018
Payment taken: not sure, solicitor did this

Supporting documents: some CSI, council tax, tenancy agreeements, work contracts, GP letters, payslips, letters from friends and colleagues (we are arguing article 8 for me as I didn’t always have CSI)

Confirmation email: Don’t think I got one but solicitor may have

Biometric letter received: 5-2-2018 (dated 30-01-2018)
Biometrics submitted: 6-2-2018

CoA cannot confirm right to work because I have not married my partner (ARRGGGHHH!!!): 5-2-2018 and dated 30-01-2018

Request return of passports: Apparently unmarried partners cannot do this.
Online status: N/A

Documents received: none yet, waiting and praying
PR received: waiting and praying!

Confirmation email : 08/02/2018
Payment method : cheque
Payment cleared : 26/02/2018
Biometric letter dated : 20/03/2018
Biometric letter received : 26/03/2018
Biometric submitted : 03/04/2018

COA received : waiting
Documents returned : waiting
PR card received : waiting

My application was rejected due to photos being over 6mths old and returned to me without payment page. Hence I sent a cheque, which appears to delay the process, as the cheque took almost a month to clear.

I had to send an email to request the biometric enrolment letter, as it was approaching the 6 week mark and I hadn't received it. They responded in 5 days, reporting that they sent a letter out.
