Hello, I have a very tricky case, sent ex ID though.
My timeline PR ROR:

Application was sent: 25/10/18
Received by HO: 25/10/18
Payment taken: 26/10/18
Confirmation email: 03/11/18
Biometric letter received: 05/11/18
Biometric details submitted: 06/11/18
COA received: never received it
Documents received: 17/12/2018
PR card received: 18/12/2018 DX delivery
I applied without a valid residence card (expired in 2014) didn't have many docs from my ex (just a couple of P60's, ID and payslips) but I managed to fill in all gaps with other supporting docs, (bank statements etc) I didn't have much hope but all went well!
This is my xmas present! :D Good luck to all!

I applied a month before my 5 years permanent residence qualification. My current EEA2 residence card expires on 24 March 2019, date of wedding in the UK 6 January 2014.

Just to add as received all documents today including EEA(sponsor) + 2kids EEA DCPR back.

New time line as follow;

Non EEA + EEA(sponsor)+ 2 our EEA kids PR&DCPR application sent - 26/10/2018
Receive by HO - 29/10/2018
Payment was Inform of postal orders sent together
Application sent by post including all documents and passports
Biometric letter sent by HO: 3/11/2018
Biometric completed and sent to HO: 4/11/2018
Email application confirmation sent by HO - 5/11/2018
COA with right to work sent by HO - 13/11/2018
Non EEA PR card received - 3/1/2019
All documents received (including DCPR for my wife sponsor (EEA) + 2 our kids who got EEA passports) received today - 4/1/2019.

I have to say their DCPR is way better no limitation but for Non EEA states PR but only valid 10 years. Not that am complaining but what PR has time limit.
See you soon on here on application for Confirmation of status and British citizen ship in year time. Going to apply for Kids British citizenship as we parents have now acquired PR and kids are born here. So am still on this awesome forum to dig for info on kids application going to file soon. Thanks every one and good luck
