AN + MN1 3(1) application

Hello, I'm an EEA national with permanent residency card (status acquired Sep 2016). My child is an EEA national as well, born in Canada in 2008 though. We've both been living in the UK since June 2011. The father of the child is also an EEA national with PR card, and he lives in the UK as well. We were never married and we separated in 2013.

I'm gathering documentation to apply for British citizenship for both myself and my child. Please let me know if I'm missing anything from the list.

Mother:

• AN form
  payment form
  photos
  EEA passport
  PR card
  life in the UK test letter
  Canadian passport (exemption for the English language test)
  p60s & employment letter from current job
  council tax bills

Child:

• MN1 form (section 3(1) application)
  payment form
  photos
  birth certificate
  EEA passport
  PR card
  EEA passport & PR card of father - do we need originals, or can we provide copies only?
  letter from the father to support the application (NB. he has also signed the MN1 form)
  letter from school to cover Sep 2012 to present (& nursery receipts - do we need the old nursery receipts from 2011/2012?)

Anything else that we need (or could help)? My child's is not automatically entitled to citizenship - registration is at discretion - so I need to ensure I provide everything that could help the case.

Apply using NCS at the council as you then get to keep ALL your original documents and they check the forms. There is a small fee to use their service.

Thank you - I might do that - however it's not clear for me if we need to show the passport and PR card of the father at all... he's not applying for citizenship.

Also not clear what we need to bring to show child's presence in the UK from 2011-2017, apart from the school letter, which only covers Sep 2012 to present.
