Hi,
I would like some advice of anyone who has successfully obtained a spouse visa by shortening the company financial year through companies house to get the CT600 and supporting documentation.
I have contacted & paid an immigration lawyer for advice, but I just want to see if anyone else has tried this & been successful before we pay the rest of the money to proceed.
Background
- I am a British citizen & my husband is Australian
- Up until May 2017 I was working full time as a business analyst
- In June 2017 I started my own limited company and started working as a contract Business Analyst
- Currently with companies house the end of my companies financial year is not until May 2018
If I can reduce my companies financial year to June 2017 - December 2017 through companies house and get my accountant to produce all required documentation for a 6 month period including the CT600 & supply all supporting bank statements, will this be accepted?
With dividends & salary payments between June - December 2017 I will personally of earned above the £18,600 threshold.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
