UK Umbrella Company To Sponsor Automation Engineer

I found a few umbrella companies willing to sponsor IT contractors, however I am and Controls Engineer.

Could anybody point me in the right direction of an umbrella sponsor for Electrical Engineers / Control Systems Engineers for contract work?

I can find my own contracts

This is not permitted and is illegal on a tier 2 general visa. You cannot contract on this visa.

On T2 you can only work for the direct employer, no intermediaries....

Thus the only way to do contract work in the UK is win the lottery to get 200K to open a business

Even that would not really be a business.
As a tier 1 ent, you would struggle to do contracting in other businesses offices while holding a tier 1 ent visa.

Nope not even that.

There use to be a visa that was available, but due to extensive abuse of the Tier 1 General visa system, this route was closed.
