FLR-M - Financial Requirement

Post by Penny81 » Tue Oct 03, 2017 2:47 pm

Hi

Hope someone can help, i am a British citizen and my husband is a Indian, the time has come to make our application for his 1st visa extension, previously my salary alone had met the financial requirement however i am currently not working therefore we are going to use my husband income, I am a little unsure how it would work with my husband he is paid an hourly rate which working 40 hours a week does not meet the minimum £18600 however since he started working for the company in 2015 he has worked 15 - 20 hours OT (paid time and a half) per week and this has pushed his earning closer to £28,000 for the past two years and he's likely to earn that again this year. I understand i can submit his last 6 months (26 weeks) wage slips along with bank statement however i am unsure of how to fill in the form. For 7.3 i ticked income from salaried employment and the used the following formula to fill in current salary - 26 weeks payslips /6 * 12 = Current annual salary - Can anyone confirm i have doe this correctly??

Secondly i am going to ask the employer to write a letter confirming:

When he started working for the company (2015 - well over 6 months ago)
Permanent ongoing employment
Job title
Hourly rate
Name of employer

Does the letter also need to include OT if so how can it be worded? Anything else need including?

Many Thanks for reading my post

How often he gets paid monthly/weekly/fortnightly/4 weekly?

Has he been earning variable income?

Does the total of his wages is at least £9300 during the last 6 months/26 weeks?

Hi

He is paid weekly and his weekly wages vary depending on how much OT he does - having calculated the last 26 weeks wages the total is £12300.

If £12300 being earned in 26 weeks then following mathematical formula can be used to convert into monthly & annual figures:

£12300/26×52= 24600 annually

You should be alright with above figures and regarding employer letter there is no fixed template.

HELPPP

I have an appointment at the premium service centre but we have not received a copy of this months bank statement which shows latest pay deposits - I have been into Santander this morning and they have printed off a mini statement and have stamped this for me. Will this statement be acceptable?
