Tier 1 Entrepreneur Extension BRP - discrepancy?!

Hi everyone,

My BRP has the following details:

Valid until: 17-06-2018

Place and date of issue: UK 02-07-2016

This means they gave me an extension for less than 2 years. Is this a mistake on their part? Do I need to get this rectified or do anything?

You should have checked the BRP when you got it in 2016 and queried it then.

My bad. I just checked the valid until date and left it.

Do you still have the BRP leaflet that you got with the card or did you throw it away? It would have told you what to do if you believe there was an error.

I should still have everything that came with it. I'll have a look at it.

My 5 years complete in April 2018, so its not really a major concern but I just thought of checking with experienced members here if this is going to be an issue

Yes, you're right. My application was rejected in may 2016 and then following the admin review, the decision was overturned

In 2011, when I received my PSW biometric card, it had the wrong dates on it. End date was put in start date or something like that.
So when I sent it back, the start date was whenever the new document was printed, but the end date was what the original end date should have been as per decision date.
So it was less than two years on the whole.
Not the same situation, but it probably has something to do with the original decision date.
