Spouse visa financial requirement

hello,

I am a British citizen and also self-employed and earned more than £18600 per year. I am planning to apply spouse visa for my wife I need help regarding following points:


- My yearly statement is very unpredicted as if one month my I put only £50 with closing balance £50 then next month I put £3000 with closing balance £3000.Does this effect ? if yes then what should the closing balance each month?

-As I mentioned I am self-employed but I don't have an accountant as I handle my accounts myself? is an accountant is compulsory to apply for spouse visa?
