Tier 2 general main applicant on maternity

Hi,

My wife is on Tier2 General and I am currently working in UK on dependent visa. She is going out of UK on maternity leave for 1 year. Can I continue to work on dependent visa when she is away?

Hello, we are in same situation

During the maternity, she is staying in UK bit going to apply leave for 6-9 months

Will there be an impact if she is on leave and her employer do not pay salary during the period
