FLR (fp) vs FLR (m) Extension

Hi all,

When applying for my FLR extension online, I accidentally filled in the fp one rather than the m one. The applications are almost identical with the same paperwork that needs to be filled in and sent in for both.

Does anyone think my application would get rejected? I'm not sure what to do next... If I cancel my current fp application then I won't receive a refund, and I can't just transfer the fee to the m application because I cannot submit a new online one without paying.

Help please!

Do you think I would be able to send in a paper copy of the FLR(m) with a detailed letter stating the situation along with the original application number that I used for the FLR(fp)?
I cannot afford a second application fee...

I feel rather daft now, for some reason I had bought I applied for the fp rather than the m because the final submit button only said family route, which raised my concerns.
