No, although I don't understand how the dates of his current employment are relevant to his Tier 4 application anyway. Is there a question about this on the Tier 4 form?!
Nothing!
The exact questions are "WHAT IS THE ADDRESS WHERE THE MAIN APPLICANT
Oh! I'm sorry. No, there is not such a question on his form. However, he submitted documentary from his work with the correct start date (different from what I stated on my form) to show that he must return after the course. He's a civil servant in our country and was granted paid academic leave to pursue his PhD. He will continue getting his wages throughout the entire course, but formally agreed to return with his diploma and continue working at the same public university here for at least 4 years so that there is a return to the society after the money invested in his education. He was also granted a scholarship from our government, covering all his tuition fees and maintenance expenses for both of us.
There is no requirement on the form or in the immigration rules for an applicant to declare or prove that they will return after their course. This was an irrelevant addition to the application, which is never a good idea.
Oh! Too bad then. But what harm could it make? Why is it a bad idea?
We both have withdrawn our applications. Thank you for all your comments.Samed wrote: ↑Sat Oct 21, 2017 5:06 pmOh! Too bad then. But what harm could it make? Why is it a bad idea?
It depends. The information would be disregarded because it is irrelevant, but if for example someone used a non-genuine document that would be a problem, even if the document was never relevant to the application.
I am very surprised. My advice was that it was not necessary to do anything at all, but as you wish.
