UK Visitors Visa for Mother help

Post by Vasi » Thu Oct 26, 2017 4:34 pm

Hi

I am looking to make an application for my Mother who lives in Sri lanka to come over for the birth of her grandson in December 2017.

In year 2014 i had made a visitors visa application for her to come over for her brother's (my uncles) funeral and the visa was rejected due to her bank account books was not showing correct income and out goings.

Even though i have sent the supporting documents to show that i will be taking full responsible for whole expense.

This year I would like to try again for the visitors visa for my son's birth and wanted to get some advice and sample sponsor letters, and application help which might help me during the application form.

I would appreciate if some can come forward and advice me correctly in order to make this application successful.

Thanks

Vasi

There is no such thing as 'sample letters'. Any letters are specific to your/her circumstances. HO is aware of applicants using 'one size fits all' letters etc.

Visitor visas are now more difficult to get than when you last applied. Your mother would have to provide substantial evidence of her ties to her home country (social, financial, property, family, employment/pension, etc).
