VISA- HOME OFFICE ADVICE NEEDED

Post by Chelseafc123 » Sat Nov 04, 2017 10:42 am

Hi guys,

I previously posted on here a couple of months about a man I had got married to from Pakistan, I managed to get the visa sorted for him to come over here and he arrived in the UK on march 2017. However as some weeks passed by, it became obvious he arrived here on false pretences. We split up and he went to live with his sister. I made the home office aware we are no longer together. He had been sent a letter from the home office, making him aware that he had to leave the country by the end of September. Well we're now in November, and the cretin has still not left the country!!! He has gone silent on social media! But he has been seen around and he is definitely still here!
Where do I go from here? Because I can't move on till I know he has gone!

Thanks In advance.

Why can you not move on unless he is gone?
You have done your job by informing home office but what they after that maybe not necessarily be in accordance with your desire but the law or rules.

The fact that he is still living here when he has been told he should have left the country in September, would this not mean he is now here illegally ?

Well the reason that it bothers me is because I put a lot of effort and money in to making this work, but it's okay for him to be here now working illegally? Enjoying the benefits of this country which he is no longer a legal citizen of. There must be something further that can be done..

This should be HO headache now. If he is threatening you, then it is another story but if he has simply disappeared...ignore him and carry on with your life.
