Tier 2 ICT short term - what options to return

Hi Guys,

I am currently staying in UK on a ICT Short Term VISA which is due to expire on Jan 4th 2018.

I hard since the rules are changing from Apr 1st 2017. Am I eligible to return to UK on LT Visa (2+1 Year) or Tire 2 general without serving the cooling off period?

To be precise, if I go back to my home country in Jan 2018. Can I come back to UK ASAP or not?
Please help on this.

You can return on Tier 2 ICT Long Term without cool-off if you come back for the same employer
For Tier 2 General a 12 month cool-off applies
