Post by Chrissyomar » Fri Nov 17, 2017 10:00 pm

My husband's visa was refused solely on me not supplying 6 months bank statements. I've been told they should have requested them . We've been given right of appeal but due to timeframe immigration advisors are saying start again . What do i do ? Do it on my ow again or pay 1000 extra for solicitor .. please help

A group of strangers on the internet cannot make this decision for you.

If the missing bank statements is the only reason for refusal, then address it and apply again if you choose to.

It is the applicants responsibility to make sure they submit ALL the required documents, so not sure how this was missed from the mandatory list of documents required.

Yes, it's not "1,000". My naturalisation application cost 750 quid including VAT.

I don't know why you didn't supply the 6 months worth of bank statements but as that's such a basic error, I'd say you can't trust your own judgment.
