Traveling to Indonesia will my wife get back into the uk?

So my wife is in hold of the UK EU Residence Card that she acquired during the time i was exercising my EU Treaty rights as a British citizen using the SS Route. my question is will she get back into the uk ok with this card but also more concerning will the airline in Indonesia let her back onto the plane to the UK with this card ? as i have heard stories that country's outside the EU have not also recognised it...any advise or experience on this will be helpful as I plan to try book our tickets soon as she is desperate to see her family she not seen in 3 years.
