First of all hi to all. It has been over 13 years since I visited this forum. I thought I never had to visit it again but alas life of an immigrant sucks for the rest of his life. I see that this board is almost dead. During my days it was pretty active and I made sure that it remained active. Anyways...
Here is my situation. I had ILR on my old passport which expired long time ago, since then I had two more passports which are also expired. I want to apply for BRP via NTL and I'm ready with everything. Just one question is bothering me a bit. Where will HO stamp the BRP? On my expired passport? Or can they give it in a separate booklet like they give to EEA citizen?
And while we are discussing this topic, here is another query. Do I need to have a valid (not expired) passport in order to apply for NTL? Common sense tells me that they may not force us to have a valid passport in order to apply for NTL but just giving it a shot just in case.
I hope I can find someone who has been as miserable as me
Cheers!
