T2 Visa Extension- after 5 years

Post by gharib2018 » Tue Dec 12, 2017 1:18 pm

Hello everyone.. is there any possible way to extend or let say granted a new Cos after 5 years from the same employer and for a different job?

If this is doable, would they count my previous years when applying fro the ILR?

PLEASE advise..

Thanks..

You can hold a Tier 2 General for a total of 6 years. No longer than that. ILR is based on 5 years residence immediately preceding your date of ILR application, even if you have held Tier 2 G for 6 years.

For a different SOC and job, your employer will likely need to complete the full and proper RLMT process, as far as I understand.

Thought you were applying for ILR in January???
