T2G to ILR Queries

Hi Everyone,

I am currently on Tier 2 General visa elgible for my ILR in May 2018. I have couple of queries and need experts feedback plz.

1. As part of my intial Tier 2 General application, i submitted my IELTS score to prove my english language assessment. The Test was taken in 2012 and the score was valid only for 2 years.

a. Can i use the same IELTS score (Expired now) in my ILR application ?

2. My wife is on Tier 2 general dependant visa eligible for ILR in March 2019. Initial Tier 2 G was granted from March 2014 to June 2016 (Same as mine) and extension granted from June 2016 to June 2019.

a.Can she continue staying in her current visa (Tier G Dependant) until she qualifies for ILR (March 2019) ?
b.Does she have to apply for dependant visa again as part of my ILR application ?

She will continue to remain on pbs dependant until she qusalifies.

FYI Only This is only when you switch to ILR from T2. In case you were to chose 10 years ILR she'd have to switch to FLR
