Waiting for FLR M bio metric letter

Hello, i am new here. Sorry if i am posting on wrong categories. I am just panicking about my application. I applied by post on 4 December 2017 and got acknowledgement letter with my wife passport on 9 December after that haven’t received anything yet. Shall I contact them ?? Because 3 of my friends applied for flrm this year too and they all received their biometric in 2 weeks and decision in 5 weeks. I dont know now what to do please advice. I understand it could be late cause of Christmas 🎄 and other holidays.
