Spouse Visa

Post by Rajmdx » Wed Dec 20, 2017 3:46 pm

Hi Members,

I am a British citizen going to apply for a spouse visa. My spouse working as full time employee in government sector in india. Should she resign her job before apply or shall we mention this in application form?
How case worker will treat if she still working? any chance for rejection as she works as government employee.
If we mention then
Is employment confirmation letter enough.

Please advice
Thanks

No.

You need to answer the questions honestly.
How case worker will treat if she still working? any chance for rejection as she works as government employee.
Having in a job in home country is not a reason for visa refusal.
Is employment confirmation letter enough.
Your spouse's employment is completely irrelevant to a UK spouse visa application. Only YOUR employment etc is relevant.
