Hi, I had 2 questions in regards to the UK Ancestry Visa.
1. My UK ancestry is that my grandparents are British, immigrated to Canada and adopted my mother who was born in Canada. My mother does not have her birth certificate due to the fact that she was adopted. Would an adoption certificate proving that she was legally adopted by my British grandparents be sufficient for birth records provided I also provide the UK birth certificate of my grandparent?
2. I know that you must work on this visa. Does this mean that I must have a job offer in advance, or may I simply provide my resume and state that I am seeking employment in the UK. I am a young professional and I am currently employed with 2 years work experience working for the Canadian government.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
