tier 2 general to IRL - knowledge of English

Post by happypie » Thu Dec 28, 2017 10:07 am

i got my tier 2 general visa and claimed 10 points for english because my degree was taught in english. though i didn't need to provide any document from university and/or uk naric. i used point based calculator available on gov site at that time and checked that my university was there in list. i seem to not find that calculator anywhere as it seems its no used.

anyways coming back to my question, when i apply for IRL do i need to give english test or get uk naric and university document about my degree, as per gov site?
or since i am already on a visa which was given considering 10 points for my english, i don't need to prove my knowledge again? i couldn't find any reference though which says that teir 2 general migrant don't need any document for english language for ILR.

thanks.
