Tier-2 Depended Visa when Main Applicant apply for ILR

Post by ahm3d » Tue Jan 02, 2018 3:31 pm

Hi,
I have been looking around trying to get an answer to the following. will really appreciate if anyone can assist.

I will be eligible for an ILR based on 10 years in OCT- 2018 and 5 years Tier-2 in July 2019.

I understand from previous posts in the forum that applying under 10 years route will reset Tier-2 depended clock and have to apply for 2 x FLRO.

My question is

My Tier-2 General is due to expire in July 2020 meanwhile if I apply under 10 years route will I have to apply for FLRO for dependents at the same time while applying for ILR?

It is FLR(M) and not FLR(O).

They can apply after you but risky if they wish to travel. The sooner they apply for FLR(M) the sooner their new 5 year period can start.
