Naturalisation eligibility

Hi,

I have got my ILR in oct 2014. I have been to india in sep 2015 and return back to uk in sep
2017.

I need to know, when i am eligible for naturalisation.

In Sep. 2022 you will have 5 years without long absences (fulfilling the residency criteria) and you would have been in country exactly the date 5 years before applying.

In case you are married to BC, you will be eligible in Sep 2020.

I doubt the HO will exercise discretion or waive the residency criterion unless you have been on crown service or the spouse of a crown servant. Regardless, you would still need to wait one full year, as the 90 days in last 12 months criterion cannot be subject to discretion.

More experienced members, please correct me if I am wrong.
