Honestly speaking u should send it as soon as possible referring ur case ID. Otherwise u may face refusal n u have to make another application n it will make more delay. My application for Ror is refused for ID issue. Guys I m trying to contact my ex but I can’t but then I m keeping all the records like phn calls n messages. Thinking to make another application with an attested copy of ID. Plz share ur experience if u guys get granted on the 2nd application

Pola, actually problem with our case is we have provided the pay slips until the right time but not the ID. Now case workers are saying if u can give that why not iD?? Now again for the 2nd application my ex has given me the last payslip which was missing but again not the ID n now she is ignoring me. But then she agreed to give me an attested copy when one of our common friend tried for me. Now I don’t know how to explain this situation to them. They will again say u can give the missing pay slip but not the ID why ??? But they don’t understand pay slips n ID are not the same!!! Pola did u apply on ur own 2nd time?pola 23 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 10, 2018 1:14 pmHi.can you share his experience pls.tnxswhatislife786 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 10, 2018 11:57 amI know someone who applied in July 2017 and got ror in December without ID.

It is just the luck of the draw. Home Office have been coming back in some cases and saying if you can get treaty rights documents from your partner then you can get passport.
According to EEA reg 42 Secretary of State may accept alternative ID if the situation is beyond applicant’s control but applicant needs to explain and give evidence of effort. If the reason is quite strong and believable they must accept it.
In fact it was 2-cases in the summer of last year.
The question is alternative ID. Home office appears to be refusing to accept copy of ID as alternative ID.

My mistake it is alternative evidence of ID. In that case what can be an evidence? A photocopy or an attested copy! The problem was we didn’t mention about the regulations 21(6) n 42 in the cover letter. As they mention in my refusal letter they consider my application by 21(5) they need to see the ID but on the other hand the guidelines of home office page 20 they said a case worker should consider if the applicant can’t provide it becoz the situation beyond them and provide the effort at least they tried. Now if the law said n it is mentioned in the cover letter I don’t think they can’t further refuse!!
Pola, is it for me? I didn’t appeal as I got the last pay slip and an attested copy of ID. This time I m applying again with more explanation and some evidence that I tried. I got some screenshots of messages and emails. Did u get ur COA?
