Hi,
I've got a few questions below in regards to applying for my PR.
I'm wondering how do I get the official start and end dates of my jobs - should I take it from the HMRC employment history which shows longer periods of employment by some companies because they have forgotten to tell HMRC the correct date of when I stopped working (ie. some years it says I've worked for some companies, but the total is £0). Some of them I truly don't remember the exact end date that I know should be different from the one on the HMRC's employment history.
One of my employers even notified HMRC of my end date being a few weeks *before* my last working day there, which matters due to my gap - which end date should I use to apply for PR?
One of my jobs was part time, should I also prove I was self sufficient with bank statements and EHIC, or does it not matter it was part time (sometimes only a few or one day per week)?
I've received my employment history from HMRC and I've got a 4-5 month gap in my 5 years of being here. I didn't have EHIC for this period, so I'll need to prove I was a job seeker.
How many job applications would I look for submitting? I heard it's not okay in general to submit too much. Would they *need* to be for every month or for anytime in the unemployed month period?
Also, do I need to be invited for an interview every month? Does na interview and registering with an agency (not employer) count too?
I didn't register as a job seeker.
Do I need to translate my proof of EHIC I got in a European language, and is it some kind of an official translation I should seek?
I'm also applying as self sufficient in the first 9 months of being here as my employer secretly didn't pay my contributions (and faked my payslips). I've got the EHIC insurance for this period. Is there anything other than the following I need to include:
--EHIC insurance
--Bank statements for all months (proves I was self sufficient) - would only first pages for every month be enough, or should I submit the whole 9 months?
Do, small gaps count too? I've been employed through an agency and then got a permanent position straight after. Agency's last working day was on a Friday, then my start date for a permanent position started on the 3rd April as that was a Monday, so technically I was 'unemployed' on 1st and 2nd of April even though those were a Saturday and a Sunday (it's a Mon-Fri job). Such a technicality, but I want to know if I should even bother explaining this? HMRC details say I was still employed by the agency in the new financial year (after 1st April) and had £0 income, then it shows the permanent post as starting on the 3rd April (Monday).
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
